In Manish Malhotra

At Ekta Kapoor’s Diwali party, Sridevi was seen in a black brocade anarkali by close friend Manish Malhotra. With the anarkali itself being so rich, I wish it hadn’t been paired with the black dupatta that had that heavy embroidery border work. The dupatta drew too much attention to it when the eyes should’ve been on the anarkali itself.

She still looked nice.

  1. Dupatta is nice in the sense it hides half the anarkali (glitter), it’s bad in the sense its border adds too much glitter!
Necklace would have been nice considering its Diwali event.
There are flowers (lillies?) on the wall behind, wish she had some in her hair, very appropriate for the festival.

  2. The dupatta seems like to be an afterthought. Wish she had picked a dupatta from one of the colors in her anarkali, with a simple border instead of the black one.

  3. I don’t mind the dupatta but that make up is just too heavy. With the outfit being so heavy you could atleast tone down the colour on the face .

  4. I think the anarkali might have been too gaudy without the black dupatta but I hate the ugly red border. Being Sri Devi she can carry off many a OTT outfits.
