In Hervé Léger

Sridevi walked the runway at the 2009 HDIL Couture week for Queenie Singh’s jewellery line, “Jewels By Queenie”, wearing a strapless Herve Leger gown, seen on the jewellery designer last year.

A case of similar tastes or a case of lending? We think it’s more of the latter. What do you think?

P.S. As much as we love Sri, the gown was really unflattering on her!

  1. I was with Sri in the first picture and then I scrolled down and it went all downhill from there. So much wrong with that dress on her not sure where to begin. The hair isn’t helping the cause and she just doesn’t look comfortable at all in it. Doesn’t have her usual confidence and laid back attitude.

  2. The dress looks fine in the picture with the yellow light (where the dress actually looks black). It doesn’t look so good in the other 2 pictures (where the dress looks blue). Her face looks small coz it’s in the dark and her body contours are so defined coz of the white light or camera flash.

  3. Her boobs look so weird in the dress. I’m sure she can’t breathe in the dress. Is it me or does it look like she’s got work done on her face?!

  4. Um would the same size fit both Queenie and Sridevi?? I mean, they both have great bodies (especially for their age) but Sridevi is curvier
Also, the necklace with that dress?? Not so much, it’s a good think Sridevi is so gorgeous that you don’t really notice. I do love Herve Ledger though, all of their dresses are vegan 🙂

  5. eeeeks! of all the wonderful things Sri could’ve worn, why this monstrosity? the dress is bad anyway + it does nothing for her body type. Sri is in great shape for her age but let’s face it, it takes a LOTTT more to get inside an Hervé Léger. Neck up, she looks great though. the jewelry isnt all that great. why is it that every socialite is either a jewelry designer or a fashion designer these days?

  6. in the first photo with Queenie, sridevi looks good, but close up, not so much. One needs to be pretty slim to look good in a Herve ledger. also the dress is too tight on sridevi, front and back. neck up she looks great. and the jewelry?

  7. eeks 🙁 . Sridevi does not have the figure for these type of outfits. Its so ill fitting on her. She does well on her own-wonder why Queenie felt the need to dress her like this, this necklace would have looked stnning with a black saree.

  8. definitely a case of borrowed glory 🙂 must say that srideve has too much t&a to fit the dress 😉 though her face seems to get more and more gorgeous!!!

  9. I miss Sridevi from the 90’s….! the lamhe oversized tee’s….the offshoulders…..i mean she could pull off a conical bra at that time….
but now…she kinda looks like a mid life crisis, botoxed, hand-me-down-herve leger-poor-woman….*sigh*
and P.s: can somebody explain me queenie’s wig…?

  12. Why does Leger make only maddeningly body-hugging outfits?? i mean, I know its their signature style, but they could do well with some variety, no??

  13. I would give an arm and a leg to look half as good at 45, but her boobs sure look weird in this dress. And lets just say Sri and I have similar issues when it comes to thighs, so sheer or short wont work for us especially if it starts or stops, as the case might be, lets see, four inches below the bum.

Thats where our similarity ends, ofcourse … alas! 🙂
