Going a different direction from the almost Grecian Marchesa we had seen earlier on her, Sridevi picked an Oscar De La Renta for the IIFA Awards Night. Choosing to finish out the look with an updo, minimal jewelry and soft make-up, she looked every bit fantastic in it.

Definitely my favorite look of the evening.
The gown fits her perfectly. But there is something about the hair and make-up that seems off. The look seems incomplete. Or maybe its just me!

I don’t get how Sridevi looks so 2014 while Madhuri still looks 1994 in whatever she wears, even if its a fresh off the runway outfit
Madhuri dose not have the body and attitude for such dresses, nothing wrong with the outfits she wears, just they are not for her. On the other hand Sridevi has always been someone who is a born star. It dose not matter what she wears she can always make even the ghastliest costume/ dress look like a catch. Remember her costumes in the 80’s movies (spl that fruit salad dress in “Mr. India”), no one else can look dignified in those except her.

IMHO Madhuri does not look so good in cocktail dresses and gowns because she’s not as body beautiful as Sridevi is. I also like Sri’s softer facial features — it allows her to wear eclectic styles.
