Spotted an Elie Saab gown on Sri at the recent awards. And, we thought she looked pretty darn goood in the slightly-modified-from-the-runway number!

The gown is beautiful no doubt. but i’d stay away frm top detailed pieces if i were sri. not all flattering for big bust ladies.
agreed – far too constricting up top, and that;s pretty much the worst thing you can do in fashion – not dressing for your body type.
Exactly my thoughts ! She looks way wider in this dress than in others.
My sentiments exactly, the gown looks much better on the model, but on Sridevi not so much, just not a flattering look!

I agree with Kumar and I think Sri is finally understanding that too and moving away from such pieces. To her credit, she doesn’t look bad in this outfit.
I really don’t see anything “ELIE SAAB” in Sri’s gown! I think it’s a copy just like Prachi’s gown! It hurts because I absolutely love Elie Saab!

I agree, what sri has on is a copy.
She looks gorgeous. But it’s not slightly modified from the runway. It’s just that the model on the runway has small/ no boobs and Sri being ‘ blessed’ in that department makes the dress look like it’s modified, but it’s exactly the same. Unless i’m missing something?

Seems to be bad hair day at HHC first Rani, then Deepika and now Sri devi. God even without a team of stylists at our disposal most people manage to do better than these celebs here.

Are you sure thats the actual designer dress or a copy? It looks ok on her but the top part is not flattering for someone so top-heavy.

Sri is looking beautiful as usual and to me her heavy top is making the gown look even beeter.
Look at the bust area and you will see a gap in the model’s gown which isn’t there in Sri’s gown. That gap would have been disastrous for Sri :p
BTW it reminds me of a game in a Children Magazine, Nandan where you had to point out difference between two very similar pictures.
