In Drashta

It’s been a real long while since we had a Drashta spotting so it was refreshing to see Indian Idol winner Sourabhee don a black Drashta dress from the Fall 2008 collection.

You can catch the blue strapless version on Sonam here.

  6. PeachBellini, Late 2008/2009, have seen female winners–finally.

Harshdeep won in Junoon late 2008. (Though I wanted Ali Abbas, who unfortunately–though he was the second highest vote getter couldn’t make it to the grand finale because of the system.)

Vaishali won first and Yashita 2nd place in Saregamapa, this year as well. And also a first for Indian Idol this year.

  7. omg now i remember why this dress looks so familiar. it looks so much similar (the bottom part) to the Jasmine Di Milo Fall 08 dress..the modified version of which Mallika Sherwat wore on the cover of Grazia last year. You guys actually covered it..thats how i remember :). anyways love love love this dress..so cute!

  8. @ sanam – You’re right. This dress does look very similar to the Jasmine di milo dress. Seems like Drashta was ‘inspired’ by that one. Good job pointing it out!
