At Blue Frog, Ms. Mehra was spotted in a pair of River Island shorts with a ruffle white top but what made the look really work was the floral head band and the pop of color via the hot pink satchel. We like!

  2. Did not like the floral headband at all. Ms. Mehra has done much better head bands before. This looks really kiddish. She could have given it a miss.

    • +1 and how.. disagree strongly with other comments.. she is original and fresh unlike the boring starlets with their tight mini dresses and tottering heels

  3. This look is all over the place. It is as if she was dressed for five different looks…even then she would be dressed badly for all of those looks. The peeping bra, that nail polish with all those rings and bracelets, the lingerie shorts, the unkempt looking hair, the eye make up (what is that on the sides of her eyes?), that pink thing hanging from her head…ugh. Don’t even get me started on the headband. The only things I am not complaining about are the shoes and the top…not because they are good, but only because they are not hideous.

  4. Uhh…no. This is the definition of “trying way too hard!”
Between the bracelets, eyeshadow (??), headband, hair extension, hot pink bag, loafers and lace shorts *whew* the look gets wayyy to busy!

  5. P&P i was shocked and appalled at the kind of comments you allowed on this. if i clearly remember atleast a yr or so ago you girls had mentioned that all the comments will be filtered through you and comments which directly aim at the celebrities wont be printed right? well i have read some really rude ones on this post, and all i thought to myself was how could you girls have accepted these comments and allowed people to post them. I think the girl looks absolutely great. she is 21 or 22 and can afford to experiment with looks or fashion. and because she dresses differently from the rest of the bollywood lot i guess people have problems wth that! anyway heres to miss Mehra for always daring to be different!

    • Amrita,
We went through all the comments again and do not find anything that was against our policy. So far all the comments direct at Soniya’s outfit and not her, so we do not understand what the issue is here? Just because someone does not like an outfit does not mean that we will censor them. Everyone has an opinion and that is what the gist of this site is about. It will always be about the clothes and not a person. If we misread a comment’s tone, we’ll be glad to unapprove it.

and comments from ‘Snehak and ‘Usha’ aswell
are comments on the outfit to you? They may only have a part about the outfit but they are definitely direct comments on her.

        • From what we see, all of the ones you mentioned infer to her outfit and not her personally and that is still quite within the comment policy. You may not like hearing bad things about someone’s outfit but that is the gist of this website. We cannot censor folks just because they are a lil’ extreme about their likes and dislikes.

  6. i dont know what the big fuss is about on this post but i think the girl looks absolutely fine! in fact it seems that she is young and its fine to dress how you want in ur 20’s!

  7. Calm down children. Isn’t this tagged as something called ‘designer hippies night’? I’d assume, then, that dressing like a kid playing hippy dress-up with bright bags and flower headbands was exactly what the occasion required?

I think she looks cute – a bit like she needs a blazer or something to cover up since ‘underwear as outerwear’ seems to me to require that, but I think she’s being pretty occasion-appropriate!

  8. I am just glad i am unknown ..coz at least i get to experiment my looks without knowing what people are saying..ignorance and anonymity is bliss in some cases ….:)

I get the girls spirit..would totally have tried it if i was 21….
