In Pero
While at a movie screening last evening, Sonam was photographed wearing Pero. She rounded out the look with a glossy lip, statement silver jewelry and pair of checkered jootis.
She looked nice. And am totally digging that suit, short pants and al.

I don’t find the calf-length pants elegant, but the suit is a lovely one.
I like cropped pants when they are tapered at the hem…cropped palazzos with kurtas look a bit awkward. Here, they work perfectly.
The calf length pants don’t work in this case. Seem badly tailored. The suit needs to be a little narrow
The suit is lovely but those pants loos were awkward. Ankle length would’e been perfect. Those shoes are ghastly.
In some other photos, her make up has a terrible white cast.
fab!!!!
Short pants have to be the worst trend, thank god it’s not catching on.It cuts everyones height, even someone tall like Sonam looks short
I’m from Pakistan and Capri pants as part of desi attire were in vogue a while ago. However they look only with high heels and extremely awkward with flats as is the case here.
like wise, not a fan of that trend at all
Perfect choice for the Mumbai monsoons.
That said, I find this look a mash-up: Between the dupatta and those dressy earrings, the casual length of the pants and the jootis, this is a most unpolished look — only saved by Sonam’s smile and restored sparkle.
Love the cropped pants, she looks really good
It’s quite practical for navigating the city in monsoons.
the kurta and the dupatta are way too traditional in their cut and style to work with the capri pants. Also, for me the look did not read like Pero, except for the jhootis.
Nothing good about this ensemble. Ordinary looking kutta paired with awkward length Capri with complete mismatch jewelry with cheap looking footwear (which I am sure must have priced crazy)
I am relieved that she did not wear sneakers.
Lol very true
Agreed with Mary as I follow Pakistani trend too and this was a while ago. The kurta needed to be shorter and more straight cut and the pants need to be ankle length. Also nowadays u skip the dupatta .
This ^^^. Perfect fuss free Desi outfit for the Monsoons.
You are carefuly skipping rhea at the screening … That signature homelessness chicness styled denim overcoat.
But thats ok . P&P can discount Rhea sometime .
she looks so beautiful in traditional love!
What is designer about this outfit? This is from eighties ! The matching patch on slits and dupatta.
Love the suit
Wish she skipped the dupatta. Dupatta and short pants don’t seem to work together.
Love the suit. The pants, not so much.
looking beautiful, hhc dont u think the comment section is always in a discussion whenever sonam wears something.JUST SAYING!!!!
I find the stitch of the kurta very unfinished. The neckline is too high, the bottom just looks unfinished and hangs. This is a complain I have with most indian designers. It feels like a last step on quality control was missed. They are lucky they get pretty faces to wear them.
Not liking this Pero on Sonam – the colour doesn’t seem to suit her (don’t know if it’s the lack of proper lighting), the length of the pants and the addition of the dupatta are not helping.
