  3. I concur with PM. I cannot bring myself to like the churidaar. I have seen it in Rani, katrina before and never liked it. but..I believe its quite a rage in India and here..When I visited sabya’s shop in UAE..this is what I was told.
This girl..I can take her anyday. She is gorgeous, young and perky.

  4. She is so cute looking, I cannot believe what I read somewhere that she was more than 90 kgs/200lbs when she assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Devdas, when he signed her up for saawariya is when she lost weight. I am amazed how good she looks and has no signs of abrupt loss of weight (sking sagging etc)..kudos to this girl and btw love the suit except for the horizontal lines on the salwar, wish she had her duppatta up so we could the front of the dress properly..

  5. Love her! She surpises with something new all the time! Even if it doesn’t work, she still tries new things. Not the usual short dresses or business suits! She looks good no matter what because she carries herself very well!

  6. I just love her look. Okay, dont care for the striped churidar, but love her waist up!…and oh, the face!! What a face! Ash, you have a competitor!! No wonder L’oreal signed her…sorry to digress from the main story.

  9. How can anybody not like Sonam here? She looks awesome. But would the same dress have looked this good on someone else? hmm, I am not sure. She just makes it work. But really, I like the dress too.

  10. horizontal lines don’t help her legs… she is gorgeous but doesn’t really have the most toned arms or legs in the business… but a nice outfit.

  11. Though horizontal stripes are not for everyone (not v elongating)….I find the color and the textural detail of the horiz. bands oddly attractive!

I actually love this look! This is much better than the parrot green, pink and firozi salwar outfit she wore while promoting Delhi 6 elsewhere!

  12. Love it! God, when am I ever going to afford a Sabyasachi creation…I agree that the horizontal strips on the churidaar aren’t so flattering.

  14. how cute is sonam! loving the look on her…the pants prolly should’ve been darker but that doesnt matter…she looks beautiful as always 🙂

  15. love the shirt and the shawl but not the pants, the patns should have been dark green or black with simple material, earrings rocks, height is a gift of god which makes you look beautiful in anything you wear, the right pic is very naughty I was wondering who was she flirting with

  16. Adorable, love the makeup. Those earrings are huge but she wears them so easily. If it were me, I’d die with all tat weight on my ears…

  17. i agree with wat someone here said; I do look forward to looking wat Sonam would be wearing next. u knw wat, earlier it was Deepika and Kangana whom i thot wer gd as far as their fashion sense was concerned; but after following her pics on ur blog (which I’ve come to love and have become addicted to!!), i’ve changed my opinion…its Sonam who comes out on tops….dis woman sure has sm sense of style; and the best part of which is dat it doesnt seem as though she’s trying too hard or has spent 20 sleepless nights deciding her outfit n stuff n stil manages to come across as fab..something dat we all want to look..”oh its nothing..decided the look jus an hour before the party!!” types..

  18. She is so beautiful. I love everything ..the shirt, dupatta, earring, chappal..and even the pants. Black pants would have made the look overly forma. The horizontal stripes provide some visual interest and the color is subtle enough so that the attention is on the top half.l

  19. I dont agree abt horizontal stripes. I liked the whole combination. Kudos to sonam to carry out indian outfits so well. I hardly wear indian outfits but this girl is inspiring me to go for it!!! What a MILLION DOLLAR face..sanjay leela bhasali has well said she is most beautiful woman currently at BW

  20. The churidar is ugly but the rest is awesome. The only reason she manages to pull off the horizontal stripes is because she’s so tall and skinny. Imagine this on someone like Vidya!

  21. I LOVE Sabyasachi!!! Where can I buy his outfits online????? And Sonam looks gorgeous! I have a feeling she is going to give all of her generations a run for their money!!!

  22. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE sabya…..who can go wrong in his creations? But i guess he should stop making those horizontal striped chudidaars….they make people look shorter and fat. Overall, I adore the look on Sonam! (BTW this blog is great…I’m new to it, and addicted to it already:)

  23. She’s so breezy and fresh faced! I like the outfit minus the churidar, but she pulls even that off so well! There’s something extremely likable about her ….all her pictures are full of life!

her earrings go so well with the outfit…i always wonder..do ppl actually look for earrings that match their outfits SO WELL or do they get them made?

  25. is she gorgeous or is she??? So fresh, so brilliant and so young!! I agree with most of the comments abt the horizontal chudi.. but I kind a like the over all look. She is my new girl crush……..

  26. I actually like the churidaar and the interesting twist it gives to the outfit…thats what makes it sabyasachi afterall.
Sonam’s body looks all wrong here, her head looks too small for her frame, dont know if its the sabyasachi ?!?!?

  27. Love the earrings and makeup! The dress I don’t know, the combination just doesn’t work. The brown chudidar and black duppatta just makes the outfit look washed out. I also think the flats with this chudidar isn’t working. Some heels would have given her a nicer silohuette

  28. Love the easy formal look, sonam truly carries it off as she were born with clothes on. I like the outfit, the textured bottom actually works. If it were a plain black it would have been predictable, the earthtone plain would have been ho-hum, a printed bottom would be too busy. this is a nice surprise that works.

  29. hi LD. oh, u meant oline store….sorry i didnt see that. I dont think sabya’s clothes are available online, unless someone has his franchise. But if u come across any, do lemme know 🙂

  30. I relly like the dress. It’s something I would have inmmediately picked for myself. Vibrant yet so tasteful. I love rich colors and earth tones mixed with black.
