Sonam gave us another sighting of her in Yanina Couture at the Stardust Awards on Monday wearing one from the Russian label’s Fall 2016 collection.
Wearing the tulle gown with its sheer bodice was quite a risk on Sonam’s part but it’s one that paid off. By wearing the diamond headband and studs (from Minawala), the actor gave the look a bit of a young princess/debutante feel. She made it work.

She’s not looking comfortable in it… makeup is off too
She looks weird.
That is quite a risqué gown, which she is surprisingly carrying off well. That being said, the grey color is quite dull, the cape was totally unnecessary and the headband is a strange choice for such a sexy gown. But can’t say that I hate the overall look.
Absolutely not. This princess-y vibe looks so jaded. The color and fabric of the gown isn’t helping either. Makeup is also a ghastly coat of white.
Absolutely stunning. That she manages to look ethereal in such a risque outfit is all credit to Sonam. Wearing it only, how she can – with total class, elegance and nobility!
She looks so bad and tacky. What has happened to her styling recently? They’ve all ranged from being bad to extremely terrible

High on impact. She looks fantastic, offsetting sheer bodice with the headband was very clever. Sonam looks beautiful and I think she nailed it.
She pulls it out off well…but it’s not a good choice of gown. Don’t really like it!

That bodice reminded me of a ballet dancer.
I love this gown and the styling. The demure finishing touches on the risque gown are wonderful. I think she has a whole goddess/angel vibe going on. I love this look!

The gown is particularly bad…hate the tulle style. She looks lovely though and carries this with such class…love the hairband addition.

Uggh very vulgar and two sizes too small. It’s a nice gown and The model wears it well because it’s the right size but sonam’s gown is too small and ill fitting that the girls look like they’re torturously trapped idlis.
A little too ‘princessy’ for me, nevertheless, she carries the gown well and looks good.
Dunno about the gown, but dear God, make-up is so bad, makes the beautiful girl look witch-like! 😛
Make up : there is so much white washing going on that she might fetch an endorsement from nerolac paints. 😉
Sheer gown : Sheer disappointment.
Her picks are becoming highly risqué. Highly risqué does not equate to highly fashionable dear Sonam. You are far too pretty to try so hard imo.
What an ugly dress. And the styling makes it worse. I don’t care about the sheerness it’s just damn unattractive.

Is she even dressed ? Ah yes she is..in the ugliest gown to date. Horrid colour , not enough coverage by far, why is there a cape when she is practically nude in front, make up is totally off. Its a terrible appearance.
She looks great, best I’ve seen her in a very long time. For a while I felt she was just appropriating ‘the only person who understands fashion tag’ and ‘best dressed and most stylish in Bollywood.’ She’s had so many fashion fails that I was quite resentful of her entitled, high handed and know it all attitude. There really was some arrogance. Now looking at this appearance, I concede, maybe she knows fashion. She was undoubtedly the best dressed at the event. Best looking even, she really made a sweeping statement. If she continues to make such outstanding choices, may the fashion icon crown rest easy on her head.
The make-up does seem a little off or I dunno if its the photographs. Pretty risque look but somehow for me she is working it. Love the addition of the hairband.
On the model the gown looks beautiful. But on Sonam something is off, other than her obvious dull makeup.
Make up making the face look gaunt while the dress showing off all her curves. Very disjointed look. No…. don’t like it at all.
The underskirt(?) or spanx is several shades lighter than her legs. Its really throwing me.
I like that her confdence in her body is growing and she has stopped wearing those poufy dresses.

The dress makes her look pretty naked but she does look good in it. The makeup is a killjoy (like always) though.
Gosh this is awful. I am usually team Sonam but can’t wrap my head around some of her looks.
I’m sorry, Sonam’s lovely, but this is a butt ugly dress. Like so ugly that this is a time to use the word ‘fugly’.
Even the model does not look good. It’s badly designed to have a seem at the widest part of the wearer’s body and the embroidery on the sheer bodice looks really cheap. I just don’t understand how this can be called designer.
Sonam may need to talk to whoever suggested this dress because it’s awful and should never see the light of day again.
Yeah, I agree with you. The proportions are way off. I wish the sheer top half ended at her waist rather than her hip. It looks plain weird.
Also, I feel like Sonam’s personality can pull off a lot of things, but not this overtly risque look.
If it was Malaika… now that might have been a different story 🙂
Because the tulle sits on the hips , the big embroidery design right on the navel throws proportions way off.
i just hate the make-up. makes her look like a evil witch from afar and clashes horribly with the head band. gotta say that her body looks hot tho. its def a interesting gown. the models way of styling it is more easy on the eye
Tinkerbell in a tinkerer-made outfit. Ew. The fitting of the sheer bits reminds me of one of those fancy wrinkly pooches- not in a good way.
1. She does not have the body to carry this off.
2. Her makeup is ghastly.
3. Her spanx is showing.

Am I the only one who thinks that she looks stunning here? Looks like she lost a lot of weight and has toned up! Never thought I’d say this about Sonam Kapoor, but she’s got a hot body here!
