In Surendri By Yogesh Chaudhary

Beating us to the punch was Ms. Kapoor wearing a fresh off the runway Surendri By Yogesh Kapoor pac-man sari. Major envy!

Don’t miss the matching pac-man earrings on her.

  1. Loved it !! WANT THE SAREE NOW!!

My only gripe..wish she had picked the runway blouse with this saree…the stunning earrings would have popped up better with a plain blouse !!

    • i think the blouse looks very appropriate … as if shez wearing a t-shirt … it’s such a fun look … doesn’t look like shez wearing a sari at all !!

  2. If you look at the sari without reading the pac-man inspiration, then it looks like a bad bad printed sari.
But for the love of pac-man I like it 😉

  3. Ok, this is really ugly. hate the print, the blouse and the styling. it looks terrible. can’t understand the fuss over this outfit.

  4. Seriously what is there in this saree.. other than the fact its Pac-Man. It hurts my eyes. Its too busy and the blouse is just out of the place. Some times I dont know if i am reading the right blog. 🙂

  5. This is so super cute ! Love it. Wish the blouse was more fitted and the saree covered the chest properly. Love the quirkiness anyways.

  6. Its a disaster outfit for me…The combination of printed sari and printed blouse is too messy .. But Sonam is looking beautiful as always 😉

  7. loveeee the saree…. like someone has mentioned already, not feeling the blouse and it certainly has fit issues (is it a knit blouse wid a rib neck and sleeve cuff??)… though sonam’s vibrant smile makes everything look just perfect!!!

    • and that is a bad thing? rural indian sweeper’s style is not style? only our elite choices is the epitome of style? i think we need to broaden our mind when it comes to style.

  9. I like the blouse. Sari seems tacky with all that print. Maybe for us from Pokemon era, this pac-man fails to arouse any interest/sentiment.;)

  10. The sari and blouse combo doesnt work. She should have chosen a plain blouse – the gota border is completely missed against this blouse. I dont mind the fit of the blouse so much…or maybe, it’s because I can’t see past the excessive print!

  11. What a kaamwali bai look! This reminds me of Masaba. Infact Miss gupta had once stated in her interview that she draws inspiration from her kaamwali bai’s dressing. So true!!!

    • Why degrade kaam wali’s style? Just because they are of a lower social status, doesn’t mean we need to insult their look. How would you feel, if someone was to say “what a (insert your profession here) look” in a rude manner?

      • Sorry, I didnot mean to degrade anyone. On second thoughts, my kaamwali bai looks more stylish with her color block saris paired with green chuda and big red kumkum 😉

  12. Not working. The make up’s off and too much going on in the prints. The blouse should’ve been solid color and saree properly draped – the pleats are messy and boob show isn’t pleasing to the eyes.

  13. I like the look, just that the hairdo even though gorgeous is too much ladylike for this fun look. a simple dutt or maybe simple wavy hair would have been better imho.

  14. i love how much FUN she has. How many people can do that? They’re all starving themselves into skin show and this woman just mixes it all up. She may be no actress, but fashionista and experimenter she is. I love the saree although she’s worn it poorly and I think her hair is too oily looking.
