Sonam caught a screening of Dil Dhadakne Do on Thursday evening wearing Shift. Pairing the chevron print maxi with a tan bag and loafers, she finished out her at-the-movies-look with long Suhani Pittie earrings and a red lip.
The outfit itself was cute but the make-up here was so harsh, it distracted from the rest of the look.

This looks like a hospital gown on her. These baggy, straight, shift style dresses almost never look good on curvy women because it makes you look dowdy when you aren’t. Not cute, at all.
I’m a big Sonam fan, but this is a definite miss. The dressy makeup and earrings clash with the unstructured shift dress. The shoes are super casual, erring in the opposite direction.
While the ‘comfy’ look works, it’s too shapeless for Sonam. I’m wondering if she’s borrowing from mum’s closet. The make-up is just terrible.
It looks like a housecoat worn by grannies with knee high stockings while puttering around at home.

She is a gorgeous lady, but i don’t understand the deal with her make-up. How does her stylist sister allow her to get out of the house wearing foundation 5 shades lighter!

Trying to show that she is not trying hard, being laid back &casual.! But you can see her style conflicting with makeup and those earrings.!

It could just be that she attented another event prior to this and only had time to change the outfit not make up. Just sayin.
This look is ‘cute’? She looks like an old granny from Goa!
yuck. not only is she trying too hard, she simply looks so off.

Okay.
1) Take a jazzy fabric. Fold it half ways.
2) Get it stitched from the opposite side of the crease.
3)Then get it stitched such that it has only opening.
4) Cut out a semi circle from the 3 sides. 2 from where there is stitching done and 1 from the side of crease.
5) Voila! A make-shift screening cum maternity gown is ready!
If that is something that can pass of as a designer piece then each tailor sitting on every nukkad of Indian Roads is a designer!
P.S. Did she dip her face in a foundation tub? Those earrings and the caky makeup for screening? REALLY?
Makeup way too harsh and I can’t get on board with the shape of that maxi. A thin leather belt would’ve helped..a bit.
She is the worst when it comes to makeup. That ashy patchy makeup always. Jeez.
It totally looks like a nighty on her. And is she wearing cream coloured stockings ? The legs looks much paler than rest of her.

The make up is TERRIBLE! Even if as someone said she had been to an event before. The maxi itself is good, but desperately needs either a a) belt and/or b) long shrug or c) structured jacket or a d) scarf. Also footwear is all wrong. Sliders as worn by the model would have been much better.
