In Shehlaa

Wearing a Shehlaa sharara, Sonam attended the first promotional event of her upcoming movie Raanjhanaa. The blue of the Sunita Kapoor earrings and Malaga clutch sure made the look much more interesting but in this case, the sharara itself didn’t work. Didn’t like the uneven lining of the top and the gold strips on the sharara bottoms.

    • Gharara is two legged but more fitted till the knees and then flared. A Sharara is two-legged but more relaxed fit. Looks like a lehenga from far but is divided. That’s my understanding. I may be wrong. 🙂

      • its a gharara.Any thing divided means a gharara . an original gharara is 5 to 7 metres of cloth each leg.A sharara is a synonym for a lehenga.but it comes with a longer top instead of a small choli.

  2. She’s looking ethereal and regal. Not everyone will love her outfit but I think its gorgeous, and I would term it as a sharara too.

  3. Sonam looks gorgeous! Yes, Swara definitely has the better outfit on, but I think Sonam wanted to stay true to character selecting a normal outfit that you can find in local stores (nothing designer about it).
