Sonam was spotted arriving in Mumbai on Thursday wearing a colorful Payal Pratappatchwork maxi with the sheer overlay blouse the maxi was presented with on the runway.
Payal Pratap’s maxis are a favorite of Ms. Kapoor’s especially while travelling. Like her look here? Me, I love the separates but the Birkin, while a good option for travelling, felt jarring against the maxi.

Looks like a jokers costume
This is plain hideous (for lack of a better word) in my opinion.
What a confused look. The sheer overlay is terrible over the passable maxi. P&P, the Birkin is the least of the issues here.

The sheer blouse doesn’t work with the maxi. I don’t like the patchwork maxi either, it looks like a blanket stitched from old clothes
Love the specs, the bag and the comfortable footwear, scratch everything else. I guess even she deserves a break from donning amazing looks all the time…but I hope break-time is over.
The birkin is frankly the last thing I noticed. There are so many other things wrong with this outfit- the balloon-like silhouette, for example, and the terrible pairing of separates.
I agree, I too dint see it until I read the write up.
All she had to do was replace the lace overlay with a cropped denim jacket, and, keep everything else. This is not working.
While the dress does seem rather too ordinary for our fabulous Sonam, the main fail here is the lace blouse on top, busily adding insult to injury.
