In Elie Saab

It was another Elie Saab for Sonam, this time a red hot suit. Hair worn up, pink lips and pink lips ( a Lulu Guinness clutch :P) completed her look.

She looked fantastic and pulled off all that red with its hot pink accents rather well. We like.

  2. C’mon P&P how come this is not matchy-much for you?? Even the pants are too long. But at least she is not looking like she’s in a sci-fi movie this time.

    • Thank God….I thought I was the only one….Honestly to me she looks like a clown….Just bcoz she is generally a good dresser & fashionable, we don’t have to rave bout her every look 😛

  3. oh i don’t know sonam. Guess when you have access to resources you can always ”channel” characters/personalities but surely one gets sick of it especially when you’re constantly around it. I don’t have a wardrobe as big and fancy as hers but I go through phases when i don’t give a f about ”fashion”. I guess what I’m saying is it’s not real (what is!) but no offence I know it’s her job!

    • I agree with some of your sentiments; after having been a very eager fashion follower in my early 20s, I am now indifferent to the trends and all. I just log onto sites such as this to see pictures of outfits in the hope of finding one that is to my liking. My tastes of late have become static; saris, particularly traditional saris worn the traditional way (ala Vidya Balan and Rekha) are my eternal faviourites and I scour the net for pictures of saris. Most recently, I’ve started watching Waheeda Rehman’s movies just to get to see her saris and how she styled them…:-)

  4. i like this look equally as i like her prev saab appearance at the HT Awards, speaking of which you should have posted the other edgy look courtesy of Natasha Poonawala’s stunning Azzedine Alaia number.

  6. The fit of those trousers!!! I went eeks looking at her crotch area – how tight must that have been and she’s swimming length wise. Tch tch whatever happened to some good old fashioned tailoring… And somehow I find Sonam looks silly when she tries these hairstyles – in comparison a Kangna always owns her look and even not-the-norm hairstyles looks great on her. I’m all for admiring such hairdos but somehow Sonam seldom carries them off and I can’t figure out why!

  7. Because she looks THIS fabulous, I thought the Sonam bashing would stop just this once. But I guess haters will be haters!
Apparently a safe black dress with run off the mill straight hair is considered the epitome of fashion! ( Yes, I’m talking about Kareena in Tom Ford!)

  8. She looks stunning, although its too much matching it does not overwhelm her. Love how she can change from a black edgy look to sophisticated.

  9. I LIKE Sonam and get that she makes an effort to be a fashion icon but in the process, her entire look becomes costumey and she’s beginning to seem a tad Kardashian like.

Having said that I like the pink for contrast but dude, check out the fit of the trousers. Anyone else and you, P and P would have been all over them.

  10. i love sonam. she dresses better than 90% of the celebs we see in glossies at parties and looks decent in almost all her appearances.
this is a cute look and i love how the red fuses with the pink hues. sonam always spices things up – in whatever she wears, even when shes at fault sometimes, im just like oh shutup shes STILL SO MUCH BETTER!!!
good usage of all the moolah!

  11. If fashion is all about experimenting and not sticking to something safe, then this is it. LOVE how she plays with clothes. She can easily carry off whatever others wear, but can anyone do this? Don’t think so.
