In Ekaya

Sonam celebrated Diwali in Dubai wearing a lehenga from Ekaya. Given the floral motif on the blouse, wish she’d give the longer necklace a miss so we could see more of the motif. And while I do love that drastic bold eye, it doesn’t look as good with the lehenga.

What say you?

  1. Why’d you pick this for a festival.. looks stiff and uncomfortable. Also, Sonam n Natasha sure love the exaggeration but can do with better taste.

  2. Anand looks good even though we don’t have a full pic of his outfit, as for Sonam the less said, the better..her eye make up freaked me out !

  3. I wish she had gone for Maang tikka or Jhapta with hair pulled back into a nice bun with earrings and kept the makeup look softer……I adore this lehenga though, the color is so pretty.

  4. Nah, not liking this one bit. The color is nice and unconventional but that top with sheer sleeves and vest is so…weird.
Her eye makeup is interesting but as someone said above is better suited to magazine photoshoots. In person, it would be rather fierce.

  5. I almost recoiled upon seeing the eyes in the closeup when I zoomed in on it. It looks like warrior makeup. Reminiscent of Karina Kapoor in Asoka – okay on screen but in real life it makes someone scared to run into you in a dark alley. Nothing in her look suggests Diwali or its spirit to me, so as others have suggested, this might be a decent editorial or movie look. I don’t think she knows anymore where the line is between that and real life.

  6. Leave out the longer necklace? Then how would she copy the look! Even the style of cuffs/ bangle is right from the lookbook. She has no originality and she proves it once more with this look.

  7. I don’t mind the makeup. It suits her but overall the look is so crowded that it is difficult to figure or understand the design of the outfit. Sonam is really tall but even on her jewellery looks too much.
