In Dior

It was Dior again for the lucky girl!

Sonam Kapoor was spotted at a recent meet-and-greet in a pre-fall Dior dress and though we don’t have a full-length, do like what we see. Pulled-back hair would’ve helped though.

Update: Added some full length pictures.

    • You have awful taste!!! That dress is gorgeous! It’s a sheath dress and accentuates curves. The colors are rich! Olive!!

  2. This photo doesn’t do much justice to her. Not sure if its the same dress but she looks smokin hot in that video where she’s being interviewed alongside her dad n sister. Also i like her hair much better there. its pulled back in a ponytail with a puff on top.

    • I saw that video too… the dress and sonam def looked 1000 times better than in a photo..also how adorable were anil, sonam and rhea?

      • I think she kept the hair down and made the dress look ordinary here because she was meeting up with fans. I think the hair with the dress makes her look more down to earth. In the video with her family she looks more diva-ish. So I think it is appropriate for the event 🙂

  3. LOVE the dress
HATE the hair (isnt it the nth time she is repeating this hairstyle with the pinned hair? And you point it out on Bipasha)
HOPE she hasnt killed this look with flats

On an aside, its been so fabulous to see Sonam dressing so well from so many events. A few misses here and there but far far better than the usual tackiness we are subjected to in Bollywood. Finally there is someone who can carry couture 🙂

  5. I somehow feel the bust fit on Sonam wouldn’t have been great. Hence, the hair is good as is. I like the dress. Not one of the best of the dior choices out there, but definitely a nice wearable one.

  6. Oh no! I can’t look past her terrible eye make up 🙁 What on earth are those white patches below her eyes??! The dress itself is quite ordinary. It doesn’t suit her skin tone, and the bad make up isn’t helping.

    • She has a bad case of dark circles and covers them up with make-up under the eyes.

I saw a couple of her natural makeup-free pics and here dark circles are downright scary..and with her current weight loss they must gotten worse…

  7. Dior is my favorite, and I think Sonam looks good, but I also think she could have looked a lot better.
Look at how fabulously that dress combines styles from the 1930’s and 1940’s and how retro the model looks. Sonam’s hair covers all of that detail and makes the dress look completely ordinary.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Sonam is almost always very well styled. Her own sense of style, however, isn’t something I see at all. People like Dia Mirza, Diane Kruger, Dita Von Teese etc. totally own their look. I don’t get the same impression with Sonam.

    • ugh! How can you put Dia Mirza up there? She’s the most boring dresser ever. Sonam is a billion times better dresser easillyyy…and most of the time, owns her look even if she’s wearing weird stuff.

        • i think sonam likes to experiment with different looks. i am also flexible with how i dress. it doesn’t mean i can’t distinguish between different style or have one distinct style. some finds one style and stick to it and some find it boring to stick with one style. it’s a personality thing. Dia likes to play it safe and have classic ladylike, veering towards girly appearance most of the time.

    • i agree that the model is wearing the dress better than sonam..but she is promoting a bollywood movie..and not in a photo-shoot..i bet the retro look wouldn’t have worked considering the event..and dia wears nice..clean-cut dresses..no risk..no change..no experimentation..nothing new..pretty much nothing to own in that look..!! and with all due respect to dia..i wouldn’t compare her style statement with Dita..

  8. Such a great dress! Just how rich is Sonam to wear Dior ALL the time?? This is a $2200 dress!
Or does Dior (India) lends her clothes for events? I am so jealous… Someone lend me some Jean Paul Gaultier clothes please… 🙂

  9. Its an adorable dress – but she totally killed it with the hair. Hides the beautiful neckline. And make up is bad as usual.
