Among the final round of celebs departing for IIFA today in Mumbai, we also spotted Sonam who was headed to a vacation of her own (and not IIFA). Her travel outfit consisted of a yellow Dolce & Gabbana dress that she wore with a white cardigan and a pink blazer (yep, the last two had us scratching our heads).
Finishing out the look were flats and a Givenchy Antigona bag.

This the most pathetic travel outfit I have witnessed . She looks like she is coming back after a long flight .
The post would have got a lot of love from aam janta ( on simplicity and keeping it real) had she not called herself an icon….tch tch.
Love the dress but don’t get the cardie & jacket combo.
The Fashion “IKAUN” needs serious advice.So this is her individual style ? Must be her stylists day off. I would kindly suggest u( sonam) to refrain urself from giving any fashion advice ( or anykind of advice at all) if u know what i mean. 🙂

Dolce & Gabbana aside, I can’t fathom wearing a dress on a super long plane ride. All I want is comfy leggings, an over sized sweater and super warm cozy socks (inspite of which my feet are always freezing…. Brrr!)
My thoughts exactly! My legs and feet are always freezing when Im flying. This dress is so not flight-friendly.

oh my.. the nastiness in the comments is a little off putting. I don’t really see anything terribly wrong with what she’s wearing. It looks comfortable and she’s presumably starting a 20+ hr journey, so I’d lay off the make-up too.

I hate everything she is wearing and how she looking and much of what I think is coloured by what she said on KWK. But she was among a few celebrity/ stars who left for the the IIFA after exercising her right as a citizen- by voting. Thank you. That makes you an icon.

To her PR – so she’s just like the millions that voted except they don’t have a hideous frock that cost thousands and a an equally expensive clashing bag. Thought bollywood was all about the pretty?? This is just pretty awful. She should never step out without concealer.

No big deal WTF is Airport Chic and Travel Style anyway?? Who cares…. She needs to realise and not take herself too seriously and realise she’s no icon I mean would you ever see Daphne Guiness, Anna Wintour or Sarah Jessica Parker look like that!

I for one have allways wondered why she is called a fashion icon. I do not think that she has ‘iconic’ fashion talent.
She is pretty but i feel her fashion sense is over hyped.
Had she worn that blazer with a slouchy tee and comfy denims/leggings, this look would have been smart and practical. The blazer is actually pretty nice but the dress ruins it.
She looks unkempt – like she just got out of bed. Some serious downtime on that plane, yeah?
