At the unveiling of the trailer of Veere Di Wedding, Sonam was seen in a white off-shoulder dress by Greek designer, Celia Kritharioti. With the dress being so voluminous, keeping everything else was a good move but between the color and the style, the look felt too proper. I guess, I was expecting a more fun look! Something more youthful.
So that way, I am a bit underwhelmed. You?

She tried to seek the attention by wearing this dress it seems..
It’s an editorial sort of dress and she looks very princess bride-y…which is pretty, but I definitely agree that it needed a twist, perhaps by way of the shoes or a less neat hairstyle. Unfortunately I think the volume and texture of the dress would make many things clash, it’s a difficult one to style.
Sonam clearly took style inspiration from Aradhya Bacchan .

I think it’s too much she cud have saved this look for other event

This dress is too Cindrella’s fairy Godmother-ish!
Looks like one of those 90s paper cutout dresses when we were kids and the texture reminds me so much of the patterned wall paints. Hard and rough. Ughh. But my biggest complain with her looks are the same. The dress always wears her instead of the other way. She’s the mannequin we see behind the storefronts.

She has done countless such silhouettes in the past so none of it is new – puffy sleeves, boat neck, ruffles, tiers etc etc. I wish she had chosen a print or something casual…….right now its hard to say if she is endorsing a watch or releasing the trailer of a home production

Can we please see her in something structured, and not these princessy outfits for once! She look rather funny with all the other girsl who were dressed in more modern dresses!

Yucky comes to my mind looking at this puffy outfit.
More importantly, it’s really OTT; if the skirt of the dress was fitted like a sheath, it would have looked better for the event. I do like the dress, but black would have been a better color option. Make up and hair are on point though.
Someone get the woman a chill pill! She really needs to get back to oozing effortless style. This is so try hard and OTT. Bebo on the other hand is effortless stunning in her look for the same event. She was more “Oh I just woke up this way” whilst Sonam is “I spent 2 months planning this look and 5 hours executing it!”

All i see is the dress. She is almost invisible.
It seems like the movie is inspired from SATC characters. They all dressed according to their character briefs. Sonam’s character is like charlotte’s so she went all proper and classic. I’m only guessing because i cant explain this poor choice otherwise,
