  1. Just loooovveeee the way she looks…she is possibly the only actress right now who truly looks comfortable and in sync with “international” styling…. looking forward to seeing more from this stylish lass!!!

  2. She is the only in Bollywood who looks like a international model, very stylish and boy she knows how to model
    All hail the fashionista!

      • hey woman! come on! Sonam is beautiful, has great sharp features but her body is far from being lean or toned or in other words, she doesnt have a models body!!! and an international “SUPERMODEL” umm you mean like gisele bundchen or gemma ward??!?!?? No WAY!!!

        • @hira…agree.
although i love sonam’s style she is no where close to international scene.
i also feel it would be unfair to compare her with international movie stars/models. she has not had the international exposure (in terms of premiers, fashion shows, interviews…) that they have and nor does she have the best of makeup artists, stylists and designers at her disposal. she also lacks the finesse that comes with all this….do not like the way she talks.

  3. I love this kameeni, totally jealous of course!! Other Bollywood actresses could learn a few tricks from Sonam and I really hope they do!

    • Kameeni totally! How I hate her! The woman has some presence….she owns every look she wears! Even looks I do not like she rocks it and makes me want to wear them! Ha ha!

  4. Dang. I hate the way she talks. I don’t think she is the ONLY indian actress to look international or comfortable in international styling.. please! I think she might be the only one who has that innate sense of style but when other actresses are styled properly they look great in international attire. Deepika is someone who I really think could have become a supermodel.

    • Agreed. she has a very Indian face and isn’t international. Additionally she lacks the modelesque body or look. She looks nice but there are lot of girls out there in metros who look better then her. This is all due to styling and make up. Deepika is definitely more supermodel material. If you notice her arms and thighs they are very heavy. I am not saying she should be a size zero. However a international model has very long and sleek limbs.Deepika, Bipasha, Sushmita (nowadays)and a slimmer Aishwarya all fit the criteria.Sonam’s face is very sleek and hence it creates an illusion that she is mode like.

      • “Bipasha, Sushmita (nowadays)and a slimmer Aishwarya”…….really???

not liking the shoot. something is off!!!
as for sonam…. after owning vintage lanvin and love for chanel (she claims that) don’t understand how she can like cavalli!!!
maybe it’s the case of ‘opportunity knocks’.

    • A supermodel doesn’t have such a dowdy dressing sense. I’m talking about Deepika of course. I hope Sonam outshines Deepika in the movies field as well. She is the better actress, that’s definite, but she ain’t lucky. I just like her a loooot more…she’s more real and seems sweeter.

  5. i’am so not a cavalli fan…but I like what I see here. Something different from his usual animal prints.
Sonali looks amazing. Love the styling…and thats probably whats making garments bearable. Love the hair and make up on her.
The sequened dress has some pretty weird sleeves!

  6. Its great that she is a curvy girl and can still pull off outfits from international designers so well. I think she has a lovely face (with or without styling) and can carry clothes beautifully. Plus she has that multi-ethnic look that is so sought after. I don’t think its wrong to say that she has an international look. Granted Deepika and other skinny girls have an international supermodel look, but its high time a curvy girl RE-SETS the fashion scene. I am sure her curves will give the skinny ones a desire to look a bit more realistic 😉

  7. Of course, her being “curvy”, “not skinny” “having fat limbs” has to be discussed. Am so tired of this whole size issue. Get over it, people. She is beautiful, so are so many others who aren’t skinny. Is it necessary to bring size into every discussion/forum?
Anyway, I love the last picture. Thats it, not digging the other pictures.

  8. sonam looks smokin’. i love her face. she’s always so happy. i think the pic of cavalli nestled in between her legs is a bit gross.

  9. sonam is curvy? maybe she used to be but now she doesn’t seem that curvy to me

i might be the only one with that opinion but i absolutely hate her hair here. it’s crimped but completely flat on the top of her head which looks really weird. the shoot in itself is ok, she’s had much better ones though

  10. what an uninspired shoot!!!!!!
    the pictures look so amatuer..
besides styling, there just about nothing to even remotely like about this shoot.
u guys are probably just blinded by ur love for sonam! 😉

  11. I really do like the styling but I’ve seen better shoot concepts…

Sonam could never work as an international model because she’s too old, and they want features that are exotic (that almost always borders on ugly locally) and she’s too generically pretty for that..

I do think she can pull a freida.. I’m waiting for an international red carpet event from her..

  12. i guess when what everyone means when they say sonam is at par with an international model is that she looks and models like them not that she should become one.

So saying that she is too old too fat to become one is just not right. She is not trying to become a model. Deepika on the other hand was a professional model but sonam just dresses better.. like a model should.

I do wish she would get her chance this year to walk for loreal that would be come thing to look out for

    • Models don’t necessarily dress well….models are models…hangers for clothes…some can dress well too and has something of their own…Sonam does well as a model and dresses well because she has a genuine interest in fashion, clothes etc. The only reason most people say she can be in the international scene is her attitude in the shoots and how she owns each look- not because of her body type, look etc. She is an actress and not a model anyways. But going by how she looks in her shoots, she can give some skinny exotic looking models a run for their money!
