In House Of CB

At the screening of her movie, Sonam kept it simple in a pasterl colored slip dress from House Of CB paired with white sandals. Like the dress?

Catch her in her off-duty avatar in a white tee and Jaded London denims inside.

  1. That gown didnt translate well in real life.
Or maybe it was not meant to be in midst of blaring bright yellow lights of a paparazzi screening.
It would have been stunning for an open air daytime event.

  2. Okay I’ll never understand fashion.
I feel it looks like a mockup of painter’s pants.
Also how an actual daily labourer painting to earn wages would have been looked down upon if he came wearing his pants to an event.
I know a lot of you might feel this is an over reaction, but things like these in the name of fashion really irk me.

    • I second this sentiment.
All those ragged looking jeans, hole waale tshirt, etc. All in the name of fashion.
Just like most of our grandmas would say, kaise fatey kapde hain.
And how we all as a society would look down upon someone whose only option is to wear such ‘style’ of clothes.

    • I completely understand ur stance.
The whole barrage of appropriation in the guise of fashion has been so problematic.
High end designer brands even sell bottle cap earrings, gardeners overalls, brown lunch bag satchels, worn out sneakers for thousands of dollars. And they all get sold out within days of launching.
You can almost say that such designer houses sort of romanticize off misery.

    • It’s even worse. Just zoomed in the pics. Those marks are not scattered paint but actually ripped allover as if the jeans was attacked by rodents. Lol
