Wearing black handloom saris, Sonali and Konkona attended the Mijwan fashion show on Friday evening. Given the statement earring, would’ve preferred to see Sonali’s look finished out with a black clutch but she looked nice nevertheless. As for Konkona, wish she’d worn a statement necklace here to make the look pop.

I feel I have seen Sonali’s look from early HHC days…and that’s a good thing. Saree with a contrasting blouse combo is a classic. As for Konkona, she had certain boho aesthetic, now it’s just frumpy and boring.

Konkona comes off a bit frumpy due to the unfinished drape.
I want to like Konkona, I really do. But the red blouse with the black saree is as unimaginative as it gets. She was never cutting edge stylish but she had an easy nonchalance that’s now slipping into non-interest territory. And that pulled back hair doesn’t do her any favors either.
Sonali OTOH looks easy.

I love how she has styled the look. It’s just a fashion show, no need to go any dressier than this, imo.
