Absolute perfection. I love that when Ms Bendre goes traditional, there is rarely a whiff of Bollywood in the look, even when it’s on the more glamorous side. She quietly champions traditional weaves, and that means she is almost always a breath of fresh air amongst peers who often times try far too hard.

Sonali always wears sarees during Ganesh Chathurthi festivals from her wardrobe like Paithani and other handloom, handwoven sarees.
The blouse colour does nothing for her. Wish it was paired with something else..like kalamkari fabric in earthy tones. She does look lovely otherwise.
You think so? Kalamkari would have been lovely too, but I really like this champaigne/dull gold blouse she’s wearing here. It goes so beautifully with the gold jewelry. Nothing is overpowering any other element, and the saree is draped so well. I love the look as is.
