Sonakshi on Harper’s Bazaar: (Un)Covered

Styled by Anamika, Sonakshi features on the cover of Harper’s Oct edition wearing a dupatta and top from the designer’s couture collection. The picture is so very striking but not quite feeling the black pants.

  2. What a weird cover, from the top she looks like a Christian bride, from afar and then the confusion with the black pants. O God! What stylists are these?

  5. She looks stunning. And the pants look great on her.
What I can’t get past is the odd dupatta styling.
Anyone else reminded of a little girl playing dress up in mom’s closet?

  6. I don’t know how I feel about the cover. I mean I do- it’s a tad scary. Maybe it’s her glaring eyes or that she reminds me of a haunted Mona Lisa. But THAT is not a magazine I’d be buying if I were getting married!!

  7. Ha ha ha!!!!!!! This is hilarious….its like a girl playing dress up in front of the mirror with a dupatta…she looks great everything minus that stupid dupatta.

  8. Question: Don’t the actors/models in question approve covers before they go into print? How could Sonakshi let this monstrosity through? She looks like the Bride of Frankenstein, with that beyond-graphic-disaster nose that isn’t even hers!
And that pants and that dupatta, nice try, but they some things really don’t work well together.

  9. N – I totally feel you on the little girl playing dress up… And orange jammies good one bride of Frankenstein! she’s always looked too matronly… This look for a fashion mag doesn’t make any sense…is this a trend prediction?
