In Gauri And Nainika

Ms. Sinha flaunted her curves in a Gauri and Nainika gown while at the recently held Awards night. Curly hair, pink lip and diamond jewelry from Gehna finished out her look. She worked every bit of that dress; Sonakshi looked great!

  1. This is probably the first time I cant find anything wrong with sonakshi’s look! Just perfect- pretty in pink. and i am finding this modern shorter hair style is making all the difference.

  2. Loving the hair and makeup but that dress is so so wrong on her body type. Strapless is probably one of the worst things her stylist could choose for her. And I would’ve liked to see a statement necklace on her rather than the ring.

  3. HOLY SMOKES. She looks smashing!!! The colour looks divine on her and my oh my it hugs her curves just perfectly! Loving the hair and the make-up too. Can’t find anything wrong.

  4. I love her makeup. That said, people with broader shoulders shouldn’t wear strapless gowns, makes it look worse. Why won’t you listen to me Sonakshi?

  5. Holy Smokes! She looks fabulous!
And all those obsessed with her ‘shape’, please get on board with her confidence and absolute hotness in this dress. WTG Sonakshi!

  6. The strapless is wrong on her body type and yes the side panels are making her look bigger on the hips. This is not working. The only saving grace is the color of the gown.

  7. HOOOOLY GODNESS! She looks like the most beautiful Grecian goddess ever! Love the curves, the healthy glow, the gown, the do…all of it! Maybe minus the mini-tattoo on her clavicle?

  8. A perfect way to ruin such a pretty dress! The dress makes her look so weird- the bottom heavy part ruins the look..also, a small thing, but hte color of the neckand parts of the face is so starkingly different from the rest of her body ,making her look funny..Sonam or Kangana would have absolutely rocked this look and done justice to thisbeautiful dress!

  9. NO, not working..broad shoulders and strapless dont gotogether.
Here the strapless is making her look like a pailwaan (wrestler).
I agree, the layers next to her hip just makes it worse, like if you scroll too fast you might just miss the mermaid shape.

Strapless is not for her…skin near her armpits is looking strange…people who are top-heavy should avoid strapless clothes and the color is making her look dark which infact she is not…

  10. I hate to say that she is looking too broad or that women with big arms musn’t wear strapless, but something is off in the upper half of the look.

Her neck, shoulder and upper arms are blending into each other. Maybe a choker or some such would have broken it up a bit. Or she needs to work out some more to get some definition on said body parts.

    The hair looks great though!

  11. This gown is IDENTICAL to the Christian Soriano gown that teyonah Paris wore to emmys this year.

Swap the colour and everything is absolutely the same.

  12. Again with the body shaming “women with big arms must not wear strapless”, “broad shoulders and strapless do not go together” “colour making her look too dark”. Where is this imaginary rule book you girls seem to be dishing out guidelines from? A woman with big arms or broad shoulders can wear whatever the hell she wants. Just because she (and any other woman) doesn’t fit into a size zero or size 2 doesn’t mean she has to spend the rest of her life hiding parts of herself to fit the conventional beauty stereotype. Don’t get me started on putting ‘looking dark’ in a negative light.

IMO, she looks like a million bucks. The colour is stunning against her skin and the silhouette is divine. Best of all is how she’s wearing it loud and proud. Her confidence is everything.

    • Hah! If any one can wear anything, I don’t see a reason why would we even visit a “fashion” blog or what would be the reason for P&P to even run a blog? Certain outfits work only with certain body types, persona & the way the person carries. Same with the colors too. Just get over it.

  13. I really don’t like this on her . I don’t like strapless gowns on her and something about the colour doesn’t do it for me but kudos for carrying with confidence

  14. She had me at the color anyways but damn that gown is looking gorgeous on her! And the makeup and styling are really well done. Though some part of me does with the hair was done differently … a voluminous blow out with some highlights?

  15. Have to say I love the colour. For some reason it reminds me of fairy floss – maybe it’s just the person wearing it that leaves that impression….

  16. Not a big fan of this look, as the color is gorgeous but for her skin tone, I would’ve not done it. For this particular dress and they way its cut out, its adding up more layers around her Hips. She looks more better in a curve hugging dress or straight line as it gives more illusion of her being tall and slender waistline.

  17. I am pretty OK with broad shoulder women wearing strapless, I personally think it looks great..only if the shoulders and arms are well toned. I love Sonakshi’s look, the only thing bothering me is the bulge near the armpits. Otherwise it’s a smashing look.
