In Payal Khandwala

In Payal Khandwala, Ms. Mohapatra attended the screening of a movie in Mumbai last night. I liked the look a whole lot more when I couldn’t see the shoes. Silver jewelry and a roomy bag completed her look.

Speaking of the bag, I understand the need for big bags, I do. But unless when absolutely necessary, I wish ladies would consider carrying smaller bags (and not necessarily clutches) for events held in the evenings, like screenings such as this.

  1. I love the outfit, it is totally quirky. But yeah, you are right the shoes and bag killed it. A structured mid sized satchel would have done the trick and perhaps more delicate shoes.

  2. Oh my! This is wrong on every level. Casual? Like wearing a red potato sack? The one shoulder red top fits so strangely underneath the completely figure unflattering red drape(what is that?). Then you have the strange skirt? What’s up with the hem, cut and fit of that? Any other shoes or bag wouldn’t make this any better. The shoes are def from some closet in the late 90s.

  3. I’m sorry, this is not working. It ticks all the boxes, quirky, natural, blah blah… but what on earth is it ? its shapeless and does her no favours.

    a WTH from me.
