I think Soha and Saba changed into much nicer and more appropriate outfits. I just saw pics of them leaving the function and they were in very bright and festive attires. I don’t know why they didn’t make it public. I’ll try and email pics to P & P if I get a quiet moment at work.

the sari is gorgeous & elegant, sartorial choice for her but definitely against the grain for traditional sangeet attire (black?!) still, it’s clearly an elegantly designed piece.
Don’t understand why people want to experiment on such events….sticking to traditional outfits is a safer bet. Besides she has such a cute figure a colorful lehenga would have been nice. Earrings are pretty though.
Maybe cos she wants to wear something fun and not boring .. I would consider wearing something like this.. it looks interesting

Just the black colour is the hitch….the outfit otherwise is very elegant and m happy that Soha did not wear the same old colourful lehengas!she looks good.

also found a pic of her sis, looking very meh for the occasion of her own brothers sangeet, but maybe she decked up the first time over and lost interest now (very catty i know, but i couldnt resist :P)
saba must have been a small child first time around. maybe they wanted to keep things simple and not flashy, however, imo, they should have taken more trouble. maybe they are saving the best for later.

I dont know…I agree with the others that yr brother’s marriage is not the place is u want to experiment and atleast if u do…do it with some bright colors. This looks so dull and unfestive…like the earrings though.

i’ve seen a pic from the front in another website and i can tell you confidently that she looks terrible!!! Her hair and earrings are nice though.

I saw a front profile picture and she looked good. Very unconventional but still nice. Given that this was one of the pre-wedding functions, I think the look is spot-on without being garish.
A little surprised at all these dark colours popping up at the sangeet but I actually really, really like this, although I think she could have benefitted from slightly better draping and styling. Everything aside though, she looks good.
She is wearing “Khada Dupatta” , whats wrong with wearing traditional outfit?
I think she looks regal and I like it she looks beautiful – only gripe is I don’t like the color.

on another note, this looks like a modern khada dupatta… any chance it is? Just curious (as a Hyderabadi). I know the family has some ties/roots to Hyderabad so maybe she was nodding to that, but there are pretty/festive dupattas out there!
I quite like it. Whos to say what one should wear to a sangeet? I think she’s staying true to her style quotient and what she feels comfortable in as opposed to conforming to ‘standards’ – an actual fashionista! I think she pulled it off.
