In Kshitij Jalori

Wearing a Kshitij Jalori benarasi sari, Sobhita attended the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards on Wednesday evening. Love the sari and the blouse and minus the necklace, I probably would’ve loved the look entirely. As is though, that necklace is a deal breaker for me. Is it for you?

  1. I normally love her style, but here between the hair, the drape, the jewellery and the makeup and the expression, I’m getting major Hindi TV vamp vibes.

  2. The saree is gaudy, blouse color dull, jewelry dated and excessive. Gorgeous face, missed opportunity…esp at an event for the Most Stylish.

  3. Is this a Raw Mango? Sobhita has tagged Kshitij Jalori on Instagram.

Back to the look, I’m not a fan of the makeup and I wish she didn’t always carry the pallu over the shoulder. We’ve seen her do that a lot lately. She’s only 27 – the way she’s carrying the saree, bun and the heavy makeup ages her a lot

  4. The saree is quite garish. Combined with the red lip, the necklace – it all looks too much. She shud have stuck to simple and minimal styling.

  5. This look on her is beautiful…traditional Indian and so refreshing to see on a young woman. The makeup in my opinion complements the saree! Absolutely love this!

  6. She always looks like she walked out of the old fashioned photo studio with the tall wooden pedestal fake flower pot 😛
That face, the make up, the slouch, the 1940s bunched up necklace, the bindi on top of the forehead, the somber look…….. all of it
unless there was some movie or show she was promoting, this whole thing looks so bizarre

  7. You have to try really hard to make someone like her look dowdy, but between the jewellery, the drape and the makeup they’ve managed to achieve just that

  8. So much makeup on her face? That saree and drape only Rekha can pull off…this styling ages her so much. I get it that she has a serene almost melancholic face but she also comes across as super uncomfortable infront of the camera lately…didnt get that vibe during MIH promotions.

  9. No! Traditional and broody don’t mix…

She comes across as a mix of Lisa Haydon, Bipasha and Esha Gupta – maybe one less thing could have saved this look (lighter makeup vs drape vs longer necklace vs kundan jewelry)

    This is a miss.

  10. Very dated look. For such a busy saree, I’d have gone with really minimalistic styling – high necked sleeveless blouse in the same green, plain black clutch, and no jewellery at all. Her beautiful face is a statement in itself. Does’t need extra bling.
