Sari Style

Opting for a demure look in a purple Abu-Sandeep sari, Shweta attended an Art Exhibition featuring paintings inspired by Amitabh Bachchan. A simple look but quite striking, don’t you think?

  1. Beautiful! Makes me wonder what stops Aishwarya from picking something like this. She has as much if not more access to the same designers and has face and body to hit something like this out of the park.

  2. Take notes, Aishwarya. I like she’s been stealing the limelight with her clean, unfussy style ( which is quite a challenge when you are almost always in Abu SAndeep)

  3. Her clothes choices and the way she carries herself so elegantly, you would think she has been a Miss World and/or is a celebrity, not the other lady she is related to.

    • Wow! That is catty! Why compare? Even siblings rarely have the same taste or style. If comparing, then why stop at only family?
This kinda comments make me feel sorry for celebrities.

    • Yep, the blouse is ill-fitting making the outfit look sloppy. If you going to pay through your nose for designer outfits, they have better fit properly no?

  4. So much better than all her recent appearances. I didnt know she could even tie a saree. Well except for the pleats in the center, she did a decent job.

  5. she looks good, dont care much for the saree of blouse, or those totally out of place ear-rings… but i dont understand the Bachhan+Abu-Sandeep love afafir? MAS much?

  6. The sarees pretty and shes looking good as in most of her recent appearances – however these types of lean, athletic figures don’t really suit a saree as much, maybe thats why she doesn’t wear one all that much? Aishwariya would look great in this one.

  7. The makeup looks unfinished…ill-fitting blouse… color doesn’t suit her skintone.. only good thing is that the ensemble in simple and elegant… but in no way a good fit for her

  8. I am not someone who compares, but I cannot help but mention that Shweta looks really graceful here and at the actual bash as well; infact she looked better than her mommy and sis-in-law. Infact, at the bash, her mirrored gown was a homerun.

  9. I don’t like the saree and blouse at all, and it is to Ms. Nanda’s credit that she still manages to pull it all together, looking simple, statuesque, and dignified all the while. The lady’s innate sense of grace and dignity (without looking matronly) always pops out at me. Kudos.

  10. Anyone who said Shweta dresses better than Aish because of Big B’s b-day party, take your words back! She gets it right occasionally, but majority of the time she is a complete disaster like this saree here.Anyone who thinks this is ok get ur eyes checked. There are so many colors. So cheap! There are so many sarees out there, there is no excuse to show up in this especially since you are kind of like a celeb.
