Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla launched a new venture, India Fantastique, a store will house designs from other labels. At the launch of the store today, Shweta lent her support to the designer duo wearing a white Abu Sandeep blouse with metallic Isabel Marant pants, tan sandals and a Gucci wristlet.
If the pants look uber familiar, it’s cuz we just saw ’em on Lisa a few days ago.
While I don’t mind the top with the pants, it’s the footwear and wristlet that seemed to clash a lot with the separates.

The footwear and wristlet pale into oblivion when you consider that she’s wearing pants that are seemingly back to front.
She pulls off the pants much better than Lisa
She carries these much better than lisa, in whose case, it was an ‘Oh My EYES!!’ moment.

The top half is nice, though I would do the hair differently.

I seem to be in the one-person land majority, in that I don’t mind the pants. They are different, stylish (based on the way the whole look is put together on the person wearing them – anyone, not just Lisa or Shweta) and stand out. Now whether I would pay designer price to own a pair of these is a whole another question – to which the answer is a quick and simple ‘no’. I’d rather buy a cheaper (cost-wise) alternative, wear it a while, enjoy it whilst so, and move on. Simple!

If lisa haydon couldnt carry them off what made shweta think she would do better?! Awful and that hair colour needs to go.
The blouse I love but the whole look is horrid and misplaced and Shweta doesnt seem to carry it off. Those pants best belong on Elvis Presley.
