Don’t hold your breath, Shweta picked an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit for her appearance at the Vogue ‘Power List’ event. What did surprise us though, even the statuesque Ms. Bachchan couldn’t make the look work.
Between the intricate hand-embroidered coat, the tulle bodysuit and the sequin trousers, neither did one single element stand out nor did they all come together to make one impactful look. The separates seemed to both overwhelm the wearer and underwhelm when it came to overall effect.
Not one of Shweta’s better outings this.

The rest should learn from Shweta that it’s not necessary to do the pehelwan hands on hip pose for every outing. Scrolling through about a dozen posts of hers and realize she never does the hands on hips thing, and that overall makes her look much more relaxed and comfortable in what she wears.
