Wearing Diane von Furstenberg, Shraddha filmed on the sets of a television show as part of the promotional activity for her upcoming movie. With her hair pulled back in a ponytail, a wristwatch and ankle-strap sandals are all that it took to finish out her look.

Impressed with her understated style or do you fall among those who continue to feel underwhelmed?

  1. If the understated thing is her preferred style then… what’s the problem, really? We can’t expect her to change her entire wardrobe in order to be hailed a fashionista.
I’ve noticed on this site that Kiran Rao (to use as an example) is always complimented for sticking to her personal style whereas I constantly see Shraddha Kapoor criticised for “underwhelming”, when consistency shows that this is what she likes.

    • I so agree with you. Another example is Sona who shows up in weird clothes and angry stares but still claimed to be good because she does “different”. Different does not mean stupid appearances. Then there is Madhuri with her 90’s clothes, dhinchak belly shows, hairstyle which is even supported widely on Highheel. I would take this look on Shraddha any day, her simple understated look much like Karishma & Dia’s.

  2. Something about this dress is again very mundane. I like her waist up but overall her look is very underwhelming. Personally, I feel she has a strong fan following and many readers here are biased towards her and much less harsh in judging her looks as compared to other actresses featured on these pages.

  3. I’m all for understatements and simplicity but this dress is just a snooooze fest. I’m falling asleep just looking at it. The makeup looks a bit off as well.

  4. Confused with all the make up comments, it’s pretty obvious that she DOES have make up on? Beautiful face aside, her sartorial choices seem to generally be meh. Would love to see her dial up the vamp once in a while. Or pick more exciting safe (oxymoron alert!) choices.

    • Comments like these drive me up the wall. If she naturally has a ‘big face’ why does she have to hide it? Whoever dictated that big faces are ugly? Embrace variety and stop with the body/physical attributes shaming.
