Shobhaa attended the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards on Sunday evening wearing a black sari by Tilfi, one that has been on my lust list forever. Why? Because, it features the ghats of Benaras on its border. And because of that, I wish she had worn the sari with the pally down so that one could’ve had a better look at the sari itself.

I own two Tilfi sarees. They are divine !!!!
The border of this saree is like a beautiful poetry. She could have let that speak for itself. This is major injustice for the saree
For this saree the pallu needed to be left lose…such a wasted opportunity. Plus the choker was a bit much, at least as per my sensibility. I’m always taking one thing off before leaving the house 🙂

Beautiful Graceful Saree..And going by recent trend.. Potlis are back.
Due to the way the pallu is draped, it seems as if she’s carrying a (tote) bag in her right hand, hidden beneath layers of the saree, and it snatches away attention from the gorgeous pallu (at least it did mine)!
Such a shame.
How the hell does this woman look like this in her 70s ?? Awesome!!!
I’m feeling jealous right now.
