The ladies both paired their black gowns with some rather long, statement necklaces. Or in Laila’s case, her dress’ embellished neckline mimicking a necklace.
While Shobhaa could’ve really done with just one necklace, we aren’t sure what Laila should’ve skipped on first, the earrings that compete with the neckline or the heavy-handed make-up. Or that dress altogether for another.

Quite a pain in the neck. De looks like she will trip over her necklace and lets not even talk about laila

Laila is such a pretty woman but her makeup is so garish and she looks like Dracula. Shobha looks like she has slung a couple of snakes over herself. Hideous.
I actually quite dig Shobhaa’s look … at least in the photos.
such a waste of an invite on laila.. she is alwats poorly dressed and that garish make-up.. yikes!!
hahahahahaaa.. these extra long necklaces make me laugh.. it’s called a necklace for a reason.. if you want something for you waist then wear a cummerbund and if you want something for your ankles wear an anklet… a necklace does not and can not sum them all up! hahhaa
Its so sad that a lot of rich women have zero sense of style despite all the resources..lailas gown is tacky
