At a dinner party in Jaipur, Shilpa was spotted wearing a velvet and pashmina sari by Manish Malhotra which she wore with a layered necklace and an Alexander McQueen box clutch. Wish she’d worn a simple pearl necklace here.

The look didn’t need a necklace. Wish Shilpa would stop over accessorizing! She looks beautiful otherwise.
Is it a saree or a lahenga? I can see two distinct shades of black in the second picture.
Those shades are due to different fabrics. The bottom part is made of velvet, whereas the pallu is pashmina.

Looks like exquisite Kashmiri Tilla work on the saree! But alas, it has spoilt the beauty of the Saree with loud makeup and accessories. The saree needed a nice bun, simple earrings and nude makeup. But that’s too much to ask from Shilpa Shetty!

I think that’s the classiest look from Ms Shetty. Wouldn’t change a thing.
She couldn’t carry off this gorgeous classy saree. The jewellery just killed the class also contributing to the poor drape .
Trust Shilpa to make an elegant outfit look overdone and tacky with ridiculous accessorizing. *disapproving head shake*
It is understated by Shilpa’s standards. I am happy to see that there is no one boob showing pallu drape. However knowing Shilpas fondness for stiched saris I am wondering if it is a prestitched one or a traditional draped kind.
She looks lovely only wish she has skipped either one of the necklaces. But the Saree is exquisite, wish I had it my collection, just the perfect black saree for cocktails anywhere in the world.

Buy an exquisite pashmina shawl. Attach it to some random velvet fabric n voila, your ‘designer’ saree is ready! This is what I can see here!
It looks like a pavda dhavni(half sari) by the looks of it from front & back view. She looks good in it. Minus the necklaces this would have been a great look.
