At an awards events, Shilpa was seen in a Kshitij Jalori sari and jacket paired with a heavy multi-colored necklace. Given that I can barely see the sari, perhaps the coat should’ve been given a miss.

I bet your mother and aunts looked effortlessly cool. And toasty warm, too!
What is this? Reminds me of lab coats but glittery. if the jacket had those studs she should have skipped the necklace.
Nope. Nothing can salvage this look.
It’s not a case of one too many elements but the individual pieces themselves all seem wrong. And put together it’s just off.
Ok, Now I think she’s just trolling us. No one can be so consistently trashy and gaudy all the time.
unfortunately she is stuck in early 90’s.
That is a really pretty saree-blouse-necklace combination.
She could have easily given the coat a miss.
If they really wanted to go the extra length, they could have gone with a sheer chiffon overlay or an organza coat so the saree is visible and things would look interesting too.

Reminding me of a band wala- that coat!
That is a very cheap looking coat. The fabric, style, pattern – nothing works. It actually ruins what looks like a good enough saree
