Sharmila and Soha on Hello India
One can’t help but go a lil’ aww seeing Sharmila and Soha on this cover but while I love Sharmila in her sari, I felt the red lehenga on Soha was a wee bit bridal. Perhaps, it was a deliberate move on the stylist’s part since Sharmila’s mentioned how she would love to see Soha get married.

Sharmila Tagore is BEAUTIFUL !! uff i love her soooo much !! so elegant !!
Wow, they look lovely.
they look so cute
I cant look past the extreme photoshop on both faces, they are looking so different !
my first thoughts too!!!
its so photoshoped..they look plastic dolls~
Not Sharmila Tagore so much. Its Soha who DEFINITELY is photoshoped…She is looking so different…
Really really love Sharmila’s jewellery and keeping the photoshop issue .. love their looks..
the aggressive photoshopping actually makes Sharmila look like a ghost of herself. Not good!
ditto for Neeraj Birla she looks positively mutated. Lay low on the photoshop Hello!
This is a beautiful cover. The loving mother-daughter bond just shines through. The ladies look beautiful and elegant.
oh come on guys you don’t have to be critical every time!!!
soha looks lovely. not bridal at all. it’s good to see her in a different hairstyle. (well not all that different but prefer it to the middle parting)
sharmila is elegant as always.
Soha is dressed better than she has ever before in this shoot. Not seen her this put together in the longest time. Sharmila looks elegant and beautiful as always!
I was waiting for you to feature this. It is so beautiful. I love that Soha is in bright colours and Sharmila in pastels. Perfect for the mother-daughter vibe. Love Soha’s styling. She looks beautiful. Sharmila never goes wrong.
I don’t think Soha’s attire is that bridal for you to even mention it. Just nitpicking, are you?
Love the photos on the side, they complement the main one.
Totally agree!!
ya…while they both look good…they seem to on their way out for the wedding function.
and Maharani looks so much like Susan Sarandon!
Oh yeah, she does resemble Susan Sarandon.
Sharmila looks so poised!!!…i think soha is trying a little too hard. Though , i like Soha’s lehenga – the color and the border specially…
I think they both look good. Sharmila is royalty out and out. Love her saree, jewelry, hair, makeup – everything!
Soha, for once, does charm in ethnic wear. Just the right amount of waist show – she actually looks very feminine.
Oh, and about the whole bridal thing – I have to tell you – red is SO overdone in lehengas these days. Most designers churn out too much of it. They think everyone wants to look like a bride. How wrong.
Love them! I also totally see the bridal type. Although…knowing that the trend for contemporary bridal dresses as fairly loud and more intricate, I’m sure the cover artists decided that Soha’s look is understated. ;o)
Finally, Soha got a stylist to make her hair look good! Sharmilla could have stuck with her old hairstylist, as this slanted side part does not suit her age.
oh sharmila! i want to age like her … 🙂
and soha looks great as well… very different from her usual bad dressing sense.
and gayatri devi – the interest in her will never wane … will it ? 🙂
love the jewellery on sharmila
totally agree!
aww lovely.
Wow…love the cover. They’re both gorgeous and so regal looking…
nothin so great in last 6 posts on HHC :S
aha…for once Soha’s hair looks good. ..cant say the same abt Sharmila’s hair….good pic!
both look amazing
Sorry to digress. However cannot help but notice Neerja Birla. She oozes class and looks good in that picture.
Agree with most others, this is one time Soha looks pretty and lovely. Like the sari and the lehanga.
First time EVER, Soha is looking great… thanks to good make up, hair do, outfit, colour , expression and PHOTOSHOP 🙂 I love Sharmila’s saree
Soha looks soooo much better than usual – the lehnga and jewelery are nice. I think like Vidya, indian clothes suit her better than western outfits. I think its just a certain look they have. Sharmilas saree is beautiful, looks like chikaan work which I love, but I’m sure I’ve seen her wear that jewelery here before? You’d think she’d have all these beautiful heirloom pieces from her husbands family, but I’ve never seen her or Soha in them.
oh and I wish you could pick up Indian Hello and Vogue in the U.K, I only manage to get them when I go to India. Their Vogue is especially good.
one can easily pick up indian vogue and hello in the UK! My mom buys them all the time.
sharmila looks out of the world..
