Sharmila and Ratna attended the Prithvi Theater Festival opening on Friday evening where the former was seen in a printed silk and the latter in a Raw Mango one. Which sari is more you? I was drawn instantly to Ratna’s sari.

Both ladies look so lovely! Sharmila looks classic and graceful and Ratna looks fresh and young at heart!
Sharmila looks her usual elegant self. Ratna Pathak can wear whatever she wants, I will still like her!

Can I say neither to both saris and I can explain why.
Sharmila is looking elegant. Beautiful hair style and lovely face makeup. It helps her sari is chiffon so the drape looks very soft and elegant. But, her sari colour is very dull and the print is nothing to write home about.
Now for Ratna. This shade of lime green colour does not suit her. Besides the contrast band on her blouse and that pink clutch is actually making this look cheap. Add those chappals (and I do understand the comfort level) are not the best looking visually. I feel the senior actresses get an easy pass on this site because it’s nice to see them out and about and they actually know how to wear the sari properly and they actually own and wear blouses. But this is a fashion blog and as much as I love both of them as actresses and personalities….they have definitely looked better and have worn nicer saris.
so much this. am not so sure about the colour on working on Ratna, but it definitely needed a better blouse, footwear and clutch.
