Shanaya was seen at Anshula’s mehendi/chooda ceremony on Sunday in a lehenga from Re-Ceremonial featuring a bandeau ring top which I thought felt more like it belonged at a beach ceremony than this one.
What say you about her lehenga?

Aren’t they awkward wearing beachwear around full family and… on a wedding occasion..
actually, i think it’s healthy she doesn’t feel awkward in this outfit. we may not think it event-appropriate but the fact that she doesn’t look awkward and neither do any of the cousins/brothers around her is a pretty healthy sign of family dynamics.
she shouldn’t feel awkward at all, but a sense of occasion is great at all times.

She should have worn a risqué look at the reception instead where it would have been more appropriate. On a more positive note, the colour combination of butter yellow and peach is really lovely.
Very immature choice
I’m always in the “let young girls live and have fun with fashion, there’s always more severe style restrictions imposed and expected once you mature” camp but this simply doesn’t look elegant or appropriate. As Payal said, a beach setting would’ve perhaps justfied it but nah this is just not it
