Shamita and Tahira picked floral peplum tops and wide-legged trousers by Vikram Phadnis to wear to his label’s anniversary celebrations in Mumbai. They may have picked similar outfits but the manner in which they styled it was radically different.
Though we preferred Tahira’s separates, the styling was much, much too heavy. Fresher, dewier make-up, softer hair, minimalist accessories and the look would’ve gone up several notches.

These seem like the best of all the Vikram Phadnis outfits from this event. Anyone else think Tahira looks a lot like Nimrat Kaur?
All of this has just gone on to tell me that Vikram Phadnis’ designs are pretty bad. I didn’t like one, not one, outfit and there were so many!
Shamita looks good even in that tacky separates. The makeup could have been less loud.
Pity that Shamita didnt make it big in Bollywood. She has one of the best figures
