Seeing Pink!

Elizabeth Hurley wore a beautiful blush ombre sari at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hottest Pink Party Ever 2008 and gotta say she definitely is one of the very few non-Indian women to wear a sari so gracefully!

Note how similar it is to the sari that Katrina wore to the race premiere, the same work and the same ombre effect except, I prefer Liz’s blush version over Kaif’s hot pink!

  1. love both saris. just cant seem to choose between the 2 beautiful shades; and each was worn so appropriately by these beautiful ladies – liz, for breast cancer awareness, in her softer, almost innocent shade. and katrina, for the race premiere, in her bright, vibrant one. good job!

  2. liz hurley carries off a sari with such grace…now that I compare the 2 sari’s, Katrina’s sari color looks harsh..buh she looks beautiful…

  3. both are excellent choices for their respective ocassions! liz hurley looks extremely elegant for the breast cancer research foundation’s party, while katrina is somewhat “sexier” for the race premiere. good job to both!

  4. Liz looks fab in the sari!! I think the only Anna Kournikova, in recent times, has looked as good. Its a nice change to see Liz in saree at an event.

  5. she better be good in knowing how to wear a saari by now as she’s been with her Indian husband for quite a while. 🙂

of whatever i’ve seen her so far, (i mean in indian clothes) she hasn’t disappointed.

  6. I think they both chose the right pink for thier own individual coloring. Lovely choices.

I should like to see how Liz Hurley walks in a Sari though. That is the true test. I have never seen a non Indian woman able to walk well in a sari even if they look good standing or sitting still in one.

  7. both look lovely.. but i think if liz wore it in a similar fashion (maybe not as revealing as kaif’s), the sari would of looked even better.. just my thoughts
