Sari Style
Wearing a beige cotton sari with a striking pink blouse, Sayani attended a screening of Moonlight on Tuesday evening. Keeping away from make-up this time, she added more visual interest to the look via silver jewellery and a big blue bindi.
There was a sweet disposition about her look her that made me like it a lot. I do wish though she’d worn some kajal though to play up the eyes just a wee bit.

kuch bhi??!! whats there to like !! such an unkept look !!
I think she’s wearing this because her character in the movie dresses like this.
Satin+cotton is not working for me. But her face has charm, she could be a shoo-in for playing a period drama character.
Weird does not equal good. Nice smile though.
Nothing is working for me – the blouse, the saree or the jewelry. Everything is a mismatch. The saree is too very drab for such a bright blouse. The sweet disposition is because of Sayani’s smile. Neck down, its a disaster.
What’s with the funny fit of the blouse? Anything in the name of fashion.
The contrast here looks amazing.
Endearing.
I don’t think this is a cotton saree, it falls too heavily to be cotton. There definitely is an element of silk woven in, maybe a linen-silk mix. A little tidying up of the saree would have elevated this look. As it is the striking contrast of the raw silk/ matka silk blouse and the cream saree make for such an unusual combination. Love it!
A normal blouse, tidy saree pleats, and this would have worked. As it is, it looks too gimmicky.
