Sari Style
In saris, these lovely ladies attended their respective events. Both finished out their looks with necklaces (Vidya’s being by Amrapali). Though I would’ve preferred to see the necklace go (adds nothing to the look) on Swati, it is her blouse and sari that I prefer.

I think winged eyeliner doesn’t suit Vidya, it makes her look wicked..nice saree though I truly bored with 3/4 sleeve blouse.
I agree. Although more than wicked it makes her look funny. Even clown like, especially in that second pic.
I agree, make that haha-funny.
I think the wing is not done properly. It should angle more upwards and be shorter.
I love Vidya’s look here. She looks like Sobhana. A shorter blouse and hair a tad less slick would have looked even better. Love Swati’s saree but the blouse doesn’t go with the saree. It’s a little too dark.
Swati’s saree is a Byloom, I think. I have the same saree with hot pink and orange borders and a black base.
both women are looking beautiful.
+1
I love the colour of Vidya’s sari, and when paired with the pink of the blouse it looks even better…I think she looks great here
Vidya looks nice, for once the drape is right. But I prefer Swati, how elegant does she look:)
slick or weirdly wild hair + granny cotton / heavy zari saree+ 3/4 sleeve blouse = vidya balan for the last 50 years …. pls change .. there is more things to wear in this world.. may be a salwar suit !!!
Vidya looks like Raavan with those heads on either side of hers, in the second pic. Traditional looking sarees almost always look incomplete without a bindi – however small or fashionable. I don’t know what makes Vidya think that a clumsy drape, 3/4 th length blouse, no bangles and no bindi makes her look beautiful!
