Of Promotions

Sara was busy this week with promotions wearing desi while at it and keeping light it on jewellery. Because we see her so much in ghararas and shararas, I was drawn to the black lehenga a whole lot more. She did look nice in all of them nevertheless.

  1. First two outfits are nice, black looked really good in media pictures. I get a feeling she’s overdone for promoting the movie, Or I’m just overwhelmed seeing so many traditional looks by celebs.

  2. Love the first three. The last two are a little garish (at least to my taste). Black lehenga is fresh and youthful; Sara looks sweet in it.

I seriously want to smack her locked hands and straighten her neck. What’s with the same pose every time. That coy posture is contrary to the easy and self-assured person she comes across as in interviews.

    • There there, hugs – no boo hoos.

I was not sure who the person – Sai’ is but terrific pics on her insta page – again – you guys need to recognized how awesome your gals are on the global front!

And hey, I find the HHC site tiny and refreshing. Their call who they want to feature. Insta and others are open to comments.

Speaking of category B – meet the Kardashian-Miley-Disney-Dua Lipa pop culture hordes foisted on a hapless world courtesy the media industry – year after year after year.

      Your gals still rock.

  3. I don’t understand why you would be an Indian fashion blog and use the word ‘desi’ to describe clothes and fashion that is local to us. I understand if you use the word ‘western’ to describe clothes that are not local to us, but what is she is wearing is just clothes. They do not need a ‘desi’ label.

  4. Umm….. Is this her style in general or lack of a good stylist? Event or not, all I see her in is in these. I understand if this is what she loves to wear but then if you’re in showbiz, then you can experiment or try different styles or just wear other tried and tested styles. If this is some PR stunt to claim a place in this ‘ feminine Indian ethnic’ style, it’s gimmicky. Almost feels like she’s overplaying it
