This blog will never call out Alia for her major missteps so there’s no hope for minor gaffes. Her pants as usual are not. tailored to her height, even the top looks frumpy. Sanjana looks more sharp and well put together
So true . I feel she is forever badly dressed .
Alia is making a nice co-ord set look like a pyjama-top pair with her styling. That’s exactly the risk remains with co-ord sets that don’t have a structured silhouette. She pulled off a pyjama look with a rather structured pair.
Sanjana looks relaxed yet put-together. Love her flats!

I like Alia’s co-ords. Sizing is never ‘true to’ in co-ords; or rather, it should not be, because at least one of the pieces is supposed to be oversized. Here, both of hers are, and that’s not wrong. In that sense, Sanjana’s seems less like co-ords.
Now pls don’t @ me or say ‘Hi Alia’ or ‘Hi Karan’ 🙂 these are genuinely my thoughts and I’d have said the same if it was Sanjana wearing Alia’s!
Fashion is pretty subjective – not all of us look at it the same way. That said, the usual issue with Alia and oversized tends to be that it drowns her petite frame. Not all trends suit all people. We are used to seeing oversized on taller women like Deepika and Katrina. Alia’s stylists tend to recreate those looks on her and they don’t work because they have different body types.
So, the both of her co-ord pieces being oversized is not wrong per se, the total look is frumpy. Unfortunately, most of Alia’s looks tend to go this way.
I prefer her color scheme to Sanjana’s but in every other way, Sanjana’s is the better look overall.
I also haven’t seen any Hi Alia or Hi Karan type comments on HHC – that’s more of a Reddit vibe I think?
I agree with you. The concept of co-ords is easy-breezy-oversized.
