Playing The ‘Its Subjective’ Card

Its a tricky ensemble, perhaps even a ‘wthey’ on someone else but Sanjana looks so comfortable and charming/lovely in it, we just can’t bring ourselves to call her on it! 🙂 We like.

Personally though, we’d never wear that shirt/top and vest with the skirt (shudder)… but a plain white tank/ganji with the skirt would be right up our alley!

  1. and the ensemble itself seems quite a bit like the ones Devotion (a UK store) stocks – I think Brigitte Singh is also stocked there.

  2. you know what, lets just leave her alone.
she is so simple/sweet and un’affected’ that one does not want to write anything not nice!

she’s happy and it works for her!

  3. Salzie: Good eye! Sanjana Kapoor is the daughter of Shashi Kapoor and Jennifer Kendal. Sanjana and Kareena’s father, Randhir, are immediate cousins. The family resemblance between the various generations of the Kapoors is quite striking.

  4. I love it 🙂 she looks good
and I agree withthe Kapoor thing, I’ve always thought Kareena looked remarkably like her grandpa Mr. Raj Kapoor (like, more than Karishma or even Ranbir- who tried to play off of that)

  5. Wow. She looks great, this speaks volumes that sometimes it’s more about how the wearer carries off an outfit than the outfit itself. That being said, I heart the skirt and her bohemian attitude:P

  6. yup, kareena’s dad randhir kapoor is sanjana’s dad shashi kapoor’s nephew.
that aside, think she carries off her outfit very well…she is artsy and spends most of her time nurturing talent at prithvi theater…so her work sort of informs her wardrobe choices…love it!!

  7. I won’t comment on the combination, but I can confirm the waistcoat is definitely Brigitte Singh. I’m her distributor, so it’s instantly recognisable to me -it’s the (relatively) new Pavot on Green design.
