In Manish Malhotra

Sameera wore an off the runway Manish Malhotra anarkali presented at Lakme Fashion Week. She swapped the velvet maroon churidaars for a black one and added on a blue dupatta, none of which really help. The anarkali itself is a sensory overload.

  2. Dont like the sheerness of lower part.
Otherwise, i still it cld have work with tied up hair, simple black/maroon bindi, minimal accessories…basically everything to let the busy anarkali take center stage..

  3. haha that does kinda remind me of a circus tent..not that there is anything wrong with that..given that one of manish arora’s outfit from memory is totally inspired by a tent. but this one..its U-G-L-Y..looks awful on Sameera.

  4. This is the cutest anarkali I have seen except for white/gold ones. I think anarkalis with their long tops look too top heavy and cut off your legs. This one feels light and modern.

  5. Finally an interesting anarkali. My only gripe would be with the sheerness but overall its something I’d definitely wear with a lining of course.
