On day one of SIIMA, Samantha was photographed in a custom Shriya Som dress. Wearing her hair to the side, the actor finished out the look with a Fallon necklace and Sophia Webster sandals.
Samantha who usually doesn’t disappoint on the red carpet didn’t quite deliver a ten this time around. The eye make-up was much too heavy for the dress and the necklace, unnecessary. This was bit of a miss!

I disagree with you guys! The dress looks great on her petite body. Those Sophia Websters are lust worthy as well.
The eye make up makes her look like a racoon!
The dress & the sandals look great on her. Except the eye make which is bad. Doesnt suit her small eyes. Along with the heavy eyebrows, it seem like she just has two black blotches for eyes.
Agree. This is a miss.

Sorry but the makeup makes her look like a raccoon. Too much contouring on the nose as well. One of those rare fails.

These are horrible pictures that do injustice to her….i think there’s much better pictures out there that contradict your statement

Seriously what is up with these extra strong eyebrows and raccoon eyes! Agree no need for that shiny and cheap choker. The dress itself looks like rack dresses, assembly line and available in every colour.
Vampire-ish eye makeup ruins the whole look
The eye makeup looks more metallic than loaded black or maybe it is the camera flashes that are highlighting it that way (looks like the colour of her footwear). The dress is nothing special either.

Samantha is donning ShriyaSom label a lot lately, it’s all in family (future family) I guess 🙂 For the unawares, Shriya Bhupal (Shriyasom label creator) and Samantha Prabhu are getting married into the same family (to Akkineni brothers of Telugu Film Industry).
Even though I am not aware of South Indian cinema but got the future family connection that you are pointing out. That is some interesting trivia. 🙂
