Wearing a green anarkali, Saiyami attended Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party on Thursday evening. I would’ve preferred if the dupatta didn’t have the embroidery all over but overall, Ms. Kher looked sweet.

The pattern and the footwear looks so dated.
It’s not a terribly fashionable look perhaps, but she looks sweet and event appropriate – so many of the guests have been wearing OTT lehengas as if walking the red carpet to an awards function and not a Diwali party
Finally someone in sensible clothing at this party! Saiyami can actually move in her outfit, vs all the people in the too long lehengas, and the too high heels and the too tight saris. So many of the invitees looked like they could hardly move without assistance.
