My husband once described Sai Pallavi as “like someone switched on a light bulb”. Couldn’t be more apt. She’s stunning without any props!

Very modest and a lovely look which is very rare nowadays
am not a great fan of kanjis myself (so shoot me!) and i can think of multiple ways this look could’ve been better for me but i really like the easy nonchalance with which Sai wears the saree. that’s it people, it’s an outfit worn by millions in our country everyday, don’t make it a costume (and PLEASE don’t use a hair straightener on your saree unless you hate it or something) (i shudder at the sight of safety pins too but will turn a blind eye to them in deference to the bigger enemy)
Ha ha..yes too ironed out pleats look so bad n the ruthless inserting of pins is another story!

The blouse fitting and the saree drape could have been more structured though.
Kanchivaram can sometimes overwhelm petite frames, but she carries it well. My only issue is the fit of the blouse. She looks lovely though.

The blouse fitting is so off. It’s distracting and looks like will slide off the shoulders any moment. Brings the whole look down. My mom always complains about the blouse fitting and these pics tell me that it’s a common woe that even celebrities can’t escape from.
This how I want to look when I dress up for a wedding for instance. But end up with 2 kg foundation and 3 kg blush and straight (not looking natural at all) hair. Hmmm.
Ppl who have worked with her say that for movie promotions/award functions etc she wears her own…she does not expect designer costumes to be sponsored n prefers to keep it simple….not sure the authenticity of this… but if u look at all her appearances it does look like it
