Model Saffron Vadher walked the Cannes red carpet at the opening ceremony wearing a simple slip dress which made me wonder if the new rules established by the film festival came to play here.
What you wear to Cannes is planned months in advanced but the festival announced no nudity, no gowns with big trains and what not. And not am wondering if that had everyone including Safforn scrambling given what they had planned for could no longer been worn.

Haha wore just the slip and ditched the pouffy dress perhaps. That said this is a welcome change . She looks pretty.
Would love to see what aishwarya rai wears once the pouffy layers get taken off:

What is Cannes even without the big dresses!! How will it ever get it’s media coverage if it’s all focused on, shudder, artsy movies!!
I believe true elegance doesn’t need extravagance. Cannes should be about celebrating art and personality—quiet sophistication over loud statements. There’s something far more powerful in a look that whispers confidence and character than one that screams for attention. I would say, let the films shine, let the fashion follow in grace.
It’s interesting that the colour of her dress is matching her name. She is looking lovely.
